New section of blog spot!

Well... I've decided to make a seperation of collecting vs. personal life. This is my personal side of my blog spot. Otherwise if you are curious about my recent hobby shopping, go check out the *MIZUNO COLLECTION*. I kept a few posts that include BOTH personal & collecting in them, plus ones with comments. I didn't want to lose them!

Can people come with labels? Please!

Wow! I don't even know where to begin...

I just wish people came like food with ingredients labels. *Sugar, caffeinne, chemically unbalanced with mood swings and will ALWAYS make it about them!*.

Yes, I'm talking about friends! I'm getting way too old for this shit! It's pretty simple people, if you're a friend to me... just check in with me every once in awhile and let me know that you are alive and well, please ask the same of me... Honestly, I'm low maintenance! Then put aside some time for us to do one thing, whether it be for a quick cup of coffee, lunch, a movie... or 5 desserts, wine and a pack of cigarettes! Life get's busy and I understand this, it happens to me too! Tomorrow anything can happen... and do you really want to regret the "what if's"?

It's just so funny how some people no matter what, can turn things around and make it about them! As if I should feel guilty for calling someone out for being a bad friend! Sorry, but I DO have feelings... I just play like I don't! But if I've let you in, it's for a reason... there's something special that I felt about you! It just makes me wonder if you ever felt there was something special about me... or if I'm just a victim of your ego! I'm worth more than that.

Maybe I should search space for new friends!

Unknown Junko Mizuno Fantasy figure! What is this?

I scored an awesomely wicked Junko Mizuno *FANTASY* figure this morning, it was made in 2002. Unfortunately it's still in Japan, so I don't have it infront of me to look for any clues. The writing on the bag is all in Japanese, so I have NO IDEA on what it's from! I haven't seen this color design before, so I'm pretty damn excited! It's got to be a special release for some event or something. Any clue collectors?

I know for the release of her manga "Cinderalla" there was a limited ed. "Cinderalla Fantasy" figure. There was a coupon in the back of the book that you had to have in order to send away for it. That version had one of the *sushi* birds as the missing eye. I wish I was collecting back then! Talk about a wicked one to own!

Hmmmm... I know I was big. I'm pretty sure it's 10lbs 8oz.

In Canada... my poison is COFFEE CRISP!!! It's like a big kit-kat bar that's coffee flavor! *starts to twitch*
In the States... Peanut butter cups! Especially the white chocolate ones!

3. If you had to choose between meat and cheese for the rest of your life,
which would you choose? Then be specific.

Ok... if it's Red Meat, I'll choose cheese...While eating Red Meat, she's a dream! But she is a hater and not a bestfriend afterwards. Plus I adore cheese, so I have no probs making that commitment! Now if Chicken is included in this option, I'll pick the meat! *GIGGLES @ PICKING MEAT!*

4. What, is your opinion, is the worst song ever?
Does achey breaky heart count as a song? lol

5. Who was your favorite teacher growing up and why?
Ms. Fox the english teacher! She was a heavy set in the closet lipstick Lesbian who was having an affair with a butch school bus driver! She gave me hope! What can I say, I grew up in a small town!

6. What personal activity, when performed in public, bothers you the most?
Public affection! I don't care if you're gay, str8, or whatever! There's just a time and a place for it people! *GAGS*

7. Ok, there's a $50 bill lying on the ground. You pick it up. Dumbfounded by your incredible luck, what do you selfishly purchase?
LMAO... as if ANYONE HAS TO ASK! TOYS!!! YEAH!!!

8. Do you have a recurring nightmare? If so, explain.
Not really these days! But as a child I had so many dreams of flying... I remember flying over water. The funny thing is that I read in a dream book that this is usually paired with emotional issues!

9. Name one place on Earth you've never been, but vow to visit at least once.
JAPAN!!! They have all the cool stuff!

10. You notice that question #9 wasn't really a question. You feel smart for catching such a small detail. What else can you do really well that reminds you how smart you are?

Miznotic Hot Mess! lol...

Hmmm... not too much going on right now. Been so busy with work and really haven't had a chance to get into the Holiday yet. It's been so weird, and the T-shirt weather down here in Georgia hasn't really helped either. My works "Holiday" party was this past Saturday. It was fun, but unfortunately I had to behave... had to be at work 6:30am Sunday. *SHAKES FIST*

I've been so boring! Just work, eating, and online shopping! lol...

Well, first of all... from Junko Mizuno's 2002 *Miznotic Fantasy* set I actually ended up getting "FUMI" and "SHIORI". The online seller was out of stock of *CHIKA* in her original form. Gotta love a VAMPIRE NURSE with a giant syringe! So I'm still on the hunt for this one! I also scored ALL 3 *MIZNOTIC NIGHT FANTASY* AND the 3 *CHIKA NIGHT* figures in all 3 flavors (Grape,Mint,and Peach)! A picture of *CHIKA* in all 3 versions is down below. *HUGE SMILE*

I've got a bunch of stuff coming in still... just need time to get the images and thoughts sorted. I still can't believe next week is Christmas! On Christmas Eve Phillips gift should be here. I got him a USB port turntable so that he can turn his Vinyl (*as in RECORDS you dirty people!*) into Digital music! He's got cases and cases of records, did I mention CASES of them!?... so hopefully he will really get into this new toy that I got him. *crosses fingers*

Holiday Blahs!!!

The last 2 days have been kinda funny, I think it's the "Holiday Blahs!!!". Usually my Mom flies down to spend Christmas with Phillip and I. We always have such a good time, there's always some kind of adventure that we go on! This year she's using her time off in January to go to North Carolina instead. A few years back my mother had a very bad episode. She had an aortic aneurysm, basically her heart was seperating. She ended up having a ton of very intense surgery @ Deborah Heart & Lung Hospital in New Jersey. A synthetic aorta, a by-pass, and more... This was going horribly wrong! The Doctors stopped the surgery and had my sisters and I come into the surgery room to say our good byes. When I held my Mom's hand... I knew she was under, but when we spoke you could see a tear run down the side of her face. That's when I knew she wasn't giving up. Let me tell you, Myrna is a fighter! She's been through so much in her life yet continues to have the soul of a Saint.

After the ordeal at Deborah, my sister Laura pulled some strings @ DUKE Medical to have her moved there. I think it's #4 in the country as far as heart specialists go. The team there was amazing! This move to DUKE was definately the right choice. I thank God for Laura! Mom still has her daily things to take care of health wise, but she's doing great... She always positive about life, always social, goes out with her girlfriends to the casinos in Atlantic City. She's also Cyber-Mom and loves to hang out on http://www.Pogo.com playing her games and chatting! I just wish she was closer! Not only is she a great Mother... but I adore her as a person.

Ok... I feel a tad bit better that I blabbed about my Mom!

Turn in the tides, 2008 here I come!

So it was a BIG day today! I had to close last night, so I went into work for 1:30pm. While getting clocked in and organized for my shift I had some chit-chat with my East Coast Operations Manager. I knew that 3 new job positions would be opening up in the company ASAP... and honestly there's only one of them that I'm focused on...

My background and passion is in HR and training mgmt. One of the positions that is opening up is for In-house trainer, which would be a HUGE stepping stone towards my ultimate goal of vendor training for the company. Well, as it turns out... they will NOT be posting the position! For the last couple of months they have secretly been observing me and my work habbits to see if I was a proper fit/candidate. This TOTALLY makes me think of *WHAT NOT TO WEAR* on TLC!!! You know... the part where Stacy & Clinton pop out and tell you how they've been secretly taping you for the last 2 weeks and have you on film in the hideous outfits that you've decided to prance around town in!? Well, accordingly to the powers that be... I don't dress so bad! I just have a few tweeks that I have to work on. I've got the job and my training begins as soon as I can work the extra time into my work load. HELLO I'm a work whore! So needless to say that training begins next week, lol... I'm lovin' it!

This week Phillip is going home to Illinois for a family Holiday visit. I wish I could go! I simply adore my partners family! His Mother, I literally call "Mom 2". If for some reason I can't get intouch with my own Mother... I call "Mom 2". Plus she sends me things, like her famous home made cinnamon rolls & her dinner rolls! The woman is amazing! She has magical powers! She can send ANYTHING in the mail and it will arrive perfect! One birthday she sent me a cake that she made, WITH ICING!!! It arrived without a ding!

I think I'll do something fun & dorky with my days off while he's away. I think I'll read stuff and geek out on coffee info and bake Holiday cookies. Eating a bunch of these cookies in the process will definately be on my check-list! I'm weak when it comes to ice-cream and/or cookies!

And now onto my latest toy update: My SHIORI figure by JUNKO arrived! I really dig it! She's missing one eye... on purpose! LOL... let me tell you the quote in her story-line of JUNKO'S Manga (Japanese Comic-Book).

"Shiori is an ill-bred school girl that loves maces. She eats entrails and fresh blood to give her stamina to avenge Chika the vampire nurse who took her right eye. Junko Mizuno turns her sleazy fairytale anime characters into figurine form. Shiori Miznotic Fantasy Doll". And here's her cartoon image that's in the manga that came with the figure. Check out the little "Dokuo-san's" (little skeleton dudes!) wrapped up in her hair! They too are eating their own little noodle bowls filled with guts! lol...
